Creating a Visual Brand
1. Identify What Makes You Special
NewLens will meet with you to discuss and gain insight into your business, passions, and unique perspectives. We will ask you to name one or two items that make your business special. Why do your customers seek you out instead of your competitors?
Based on this discussion, we will help you develop or refine:
- A set of core values
- A mission tagline
- An ‘about us’ story
Each of these elements will serve as a focal point in selecting our finely crafted off-the-shelf images or creating custom photographs that can be used for websites, marketing materials, or to create mood-setting wall art that leaves a lasting impression. Effective branding means consistently including these messages on your website, business and social media profiles, and your business’s printed materials.
2. Who Is Your Customer and What Do You Offer Them?
Do you know who you should sell to? If you don’t have a clear image of your target market, then your branding and marketing will be less effective. All business decisions influence your prime customers, whether you know who they are or not.
Specialization is a way to stand out and be remembered. There is a famous quote that states: ‘Success comes by strengthening your strengths more than improving on your weaknesses. If you can (capture) the potential of your strength, then you become a champion …’ – Dr. Lucas D. Shallua. Knowing how and where your business excels keeps your customers happy.
3. Develop a Strong Brand
The key to a good brand is to be memorable and show off what you do best. A great first impression is as important as a great lasting impression. From the get-go, make sure you attract as many potential customers in your target market as possible. The strength of your brand awareness is a composite of a fulfilling product or service need and the creation of a positive memory of your brand.
The key to creating a strong brand is consistency, demonstrating excellent experience, and brand reinforcement.
Great visual media sets a mood, making a lasting impression that people remember.
4. Let Your Visual Brand Speak
A descriptive and concise message is key. An amazing visual message is easier to remember than a paragraph of words. The saying, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words,’ is worth remembering.
A viewer should be able to tell what you do and whether your business might fulfill their need based on seeing your images, your tagline, and having a strong perception of the mood that is created.
5. Emotional Connection
We offer stunning images that connect on an emotional level. A positive emotional response contributes to an uplifting experience and becomes a part of the viewer’s memory. Images should be pleasing to the eye, and will often remind one of their own inspirational life experiences, while creating a sense of comfort that your business will take care of their needs and/or desires.
